Oloufana Productions Limited produces award-winning cinema shaped by boundless curiosity. Its narrative and documentary films explore culture, connection, and the complexities of the human condition.
Founded in 2024, Oloufana emerged from a desire to explore philosophical ideas through a visual and narrative form. In 2026, its debut short film, Metanoya, won the award for Best Directing/Production at the 12th Cap Spartel International Film Festival. Oloufana continues to grow, developing new projects that push deeper into the ideas at the heart of its work.
Ashraf Shenouda
Founder & CEO
Ashraf Shenouda is an artistic philosopher, entrepreneur, investor, and lifelong champion of the arts. He has founded and supported a range of cultural initiatives, most notably DIDASKALIA ALEXANDRIAS, which nurtures philosophical and spiritual learning through artistic practice and youth theatre.
Oloufana embodies Ashraf’s belief in cinema as a powerful meeting point for ideas, creativity, and community. His debut film, Metanoya, which he created, co-wrote, and produced, received the Best Directing/Production Award at the Cap Spartel International Film Festival in April 2026.
